Project: Strategic AI Integration for Modern Classrooms

Objective: To demystify Artificial Intelligence for educators and provide a practical, pedagogical framework for integrating AI tools to create more dynamic, efficient, and student-centered learning experiences.

My Role: Instructional Designer & AI in Education Specialist

I was responsible for the end-to-end creation and delivery of this forward-focused professional development session, from initial research and framework development to facilitating collaborative understanding.

Key Contributions & Process:

• Framework Development & Content Design:

  • Researched and synthesized current AI applications in education to develop a clear, actionable framework for classroom integration.

  • Designed a comprehensive presentation and detailed outline that moved beyond theory, featuring concrete examples of AI tools for generating engaging lesson hooks, automating administrative tasks, and providing personalized learning pathways.

• Pedagogical Strategy & Facilitation:

  • Crafted a series of strategic discussion questions to guide educators through the ethical considerations, practical challenges, and transformative potential of AI.

  • Facilitated sessions that prompted profound contemplation on reshaping teaching practices, ultimately fostering a deeper comprehension of how AI can serve as a collaborative partner in education to save time and enhance learning outcomes.
